A] PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Tomato Puree shall be processed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices. The product shall conform in every respect to the provision set forth under Food Safety Standard Authority of India. It shall produce from mature, red vine ripened tomatoes that are sorted, aseptically processed and filled into sterilised bag.

B] PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES:

a. Colour : Characteristic Tomato Red colour

b. Appearance : Uniform homogeneous product, free from skin and seed

c. Flavour / Aroma : Characteristic of ripened Tomato

 

C] INGREDIENT DECLERATION:

Product is manufactured from authentic Tomato and does not contain any Preservative, colour, Flavour or other additive

D] ANALYTICAL ATTRIBUTES:

a. Total Soluble Solids at 21oC (oBrix) : 9-11

b. Acidity (as % Citric acid) : 0.7 – 1.3

c. pH : 3.7 – 4.5

d. Bostwick (12o Brix, 30 sec at 21oC) : 4 -7

e. Colour Value a/b ratio (12o Brix),C2 Illuminant) : Min.2.0

f. Colour Value (USFDA Colour Score) : Min 45

 

E] MICROBIOLOGICAL ATTRIBUTES:

a. Yeast and Mould Count : < 10/gram

b. Standard Plate Count : < 100/gram

c. Coliform : Absent/gram

d. Howard Mold Count (8.5 oBrix) : <40

e. Meet the CFR title 21 requirement of commercial Sterility

 

F] PACKAGING SPECIFICATIONS:

Available in 215 Kg aseptic bag in open top MS drum

G) STORAGE:

a. Stored in cool and dry place away from heat. Please do not freeze

b. Storage Temperature Requirements : Ambient

H) SHELF LIFE:

18 Month from date of manufacturing at stated storage condition. Product should be used quickly after opening the bag.
